Community Services Program

Are you interested in part-time work? Starting back to work having fulfilled family commitments?
Are you a carer – either former or current? Do you have a social welfare entitlement or a disability? Interested in work that suits your situation?
The Community Services Program will be starting in the Múscraí area over the course of the coming months. The aim of the program is to deliver an integrated program focused on meeting the needs of older people and people with disabilities, and supporting the carers of these groups. We hope to recruit a number of additional employees to work on this program, and would welcome applications. The type of work we hope to carry out includes the following:

  • Transport Provision – Drivers and Travel Assistants
(D1 Licence essential, training can be provided if necessary)

  • Personal Assistants to enable people to access Essential Services -
social, cultural, educational, personal & health-related

  • Home Visitor service, daily phone call, check on personal alarms,
    for those less independent.

  • Other services to be developed later in the program, depending on the skills and abilities of those recruited, could include small scale work such as installation of
door-chains, draft exclusion, fire alarms, insulation, etc. as required, as well as maintenance of the facilities being used for the program.

mfg-Meitheal Mhúscraí is an equal opportunities employer, and we will respond to all applicants.
Please do not hesitate to contact us for more information.
