Two 2-person
apartments in an idyllic setting just 3 miles from Inchigeelagh village
and a little further from Dunmanway. Situated in a lovely, largely unexploited
part of Co.Cork but only around 40 minutes drive of Cork City Centre.
They boast lovely
views, a remote location and are simply but delightfully furnished. Country
walks can start right on the doorstep without the need to drive to a start
point. This unspoiled area is, as yet, hardly discovered by tourists and
so is ideal for those who value being almost alone in the countryside.
For those desiring more sociability, the local pubs are renowned for their
warm welcome and friendly company.
Both apartments
are available to let by the day, self-catering, or as bed & breakfast.
Discounts are usually given Oct-Apr. or for periods of over 14 days.
The friendly,
helpful proprietors are very knowledgeable about the area and live right
next door.
The nearest
shops and pubs are 3 miles away, the nearest beach 24 miles. The south
coast of Cork has many long unspoilt beaches of soft sand. Pike and trout
fishing are available in Loch Allua, about 6 miles away.
